NOVEMBER

Brothers and Sisters,
We greet you all in the special precious love of our Lord. After being in the United States for two months we returned to Costa Rica and many wonderful things happened. We wish to share our experiences with you in this next report.
At Home
For us being in Costa Rica is being at home. The brothers and sisters in Sabanilla received us so joyfully and lovingly. We stayed at Steven's house and from there we were able to see many of the members of the Lord's family. After a week Rachel and the children returned to the States to work on our living arrangements for our return. They were sentimental about leaving but excited to get to work on our future plans. I stayed two extra weeks to be a part of the International Spanish Speaking Preacher's Meeting. During my stay there I had the opportunity to share with my good friends Calvin and Linda Henry. It was very nice to see them and talk about good memories.

More members

God is blessing the work of the Church in Sabanilla. During the last two Sundays there we celebrated two more baptisms. Wendoly Montero is a young lady we were so thankful to see baptized. Her father is an alcoholic and this causes many problems in her home. She tried to fix her own problems which only made it worse. Now she is a daughter of God and has accepted to live a new life in Christ being a blessing to many. The second baptism was Aida Celedon. She has been receiving counseling from Steven during this year. Now she is our sister and understands that God has saved her life. Please keep these two new sisters in your prayers.

A Great Family
The Sabanilla Congregation is very well organized. The ministries are becoming stronger and are focused on doing their labor with perfection. This great family is ready to grow and find a way to love each of their members.
25th Annual International Spanish Speaking Preachers' Meeting
From the 9th through the 16th of November the Lord allowed us to celebrate a wonderful event. Almost 300 people from different countries met together in Costa Rica to fellowship in Jesus Christ. The congregations that hosted this event were Sabanilla, Alajuela, Cartago, and Paso Ancho. The preachers and members from these congregations gave a great effort even in hard times, and the reward of being together was fantastic.

A Love Meeting
This event was more than just a seminar or conference. It was a time of closeness, trust, and brotherhood. Next year this activity will be celebrated in Los Angeles, CA. Already many preachers have committed to being present next year.

Attendance from different countries

Some brothers and sisters had to make longer trips than others. Some arrived by bus and others by plane. It was easy to see the desire and excitement they all had in participating in the event. There were brothers from Mexico, Columbia, El Salvador, United States, Honduras, Guatamala, Nicaragua, Panama, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Brazil.

Conclusion

As we said earlier many wonderful things happened while we were in Costa Rica. This was the last time for us to be among the Sabanilla congregation as ministers. It was very special to finish our time there being one of the host congregation for this great event. The brothers and sisters in Sabanilla showed their maturity and love as they organized, served, and gave many things to make this event a success. I felt privileged to be a part of the organization committee for this event, and I enjoyed it even more organizing it in the company of such special brethren. Below you will find a video where I am saying goodbye to the congregation and the members in Costa Rica.
